Jean-Pierre Larroque believes video can be a catalyst for social change. He is best known for his guerilla-style, no budget, social commentary films that are often improvised and shot in single takes. Jean-Pierre has been featured on the cover of the Wall Street Journal for recording himself being waterboarded and recognized by the late film critic, Roger Ebert, for The Revealed Truth, a Luganda language passion play produced as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural East Africa. Jean-Pierre has also contributed to projects for MTV Networks and public broadcasting in the United States, Canada, and France. When not creating his own films, Jean-Pierre works in the telecommunications industry and with international development nonprofit organizations. He lives with his wife and their twin toddlers in Denver, Colorado.
